TrigoldCrystal has won the contract to provide Legal and General's consumer mortgage comparison tables on the website.
The new feature on the mortgage pages of the Legal & General website will be used to help consumers research mortgages online before being passed to a Legal & General broker for an advised sale.
Legal & General said it has built its own unique interface for the service which uses TrigoldCrystal technology at the ‘back end' to feed the searches.
The service feeds over 200,000 searches a month to power adviser websites, corporate websites, and the TrigoldCrystal iPhone application.
Simon Maskell, technology director, at Legal & General Network, said: "Consumers are increasingly looking online for product information prior to seeking advice and this new feature helps them get what they want. The scale of the project means we needed to partner with a credible provider who could source this data quickly and accurately. TrigoldCrystal proved to us they could deliver this as requested and we are looking forward to a successful launch."
Patrick Shuker, chief technical Officer, at TrigoldCrystal, said: "This is another great endorsement of our new research technology and will help consumers navigate the confusing world of mortgages."
He added the firm's intelligent search tool technology is being used by an increasing number of firms on their own sites to satisfy consumer demand and generate consumer leads.
