Business process manager Staffware is intending to speed up mortgage applications by launching an automated internet-enabled system for lenders.
Applicants will be able to complete and submit forms online where they will be automatically routed to the lender for approval and credit referencing, and linked to banking systems to determine applicants’ income and payment patterns.
Trevor Salmon, financial services sales director at Staffware, said: ‘With shrinking profit margins and increasing pressure from new entrants, only by improving internal business processes can lenders address these challenges, as current processes for handling a mortgage application remain predominantly manual, complex and protracted.’
