SPML has restructured its new mortgage lending operation in response to growing business volumes.
Diane Lark has been promoted from new business manager to executive manager mortgage lending, and will be responsible for front end activity such as underwriting, offers, completions and associated processing. Martin Robson moves from senior underwriter to Lark’s old position, overseeing service up to offer. Steve Potter has taken the new post of lending quality manager.
GMAC
Simon Knight is leaving his position as marketing director at GMAC RFC and is moving on to become managing director of strategic marketing at GMAC Residential Capital Group in Minneapolis, USA. His duties will involve marketing and strategic development of GMAC’s US business. As part of his overall role he also becomes chairman of the global marketing council, a GMAC forum for worldwide brand development, investor relations and new markets. Before joining GMAC, Knight was joint managing director of mortgage packager Private Label, which was bought by GMAC in 1998 and integrated into the company during 2000.
