Focus Solutions has formed an alliance with software development group, Dunstan Thomas, to provide lenders with a compliance-friendly electronic system for processing mortgage applications and other sales processes.
John Streets, chief executive at Focus Solutions, said: ‘Our partnership will allow Focus to penetrate the mortgage market and enable organisations to have a workable solution in time for the implementation of the CP98 regulations in August 2002.’
The new system, ‘goal: technology’, will enable lenders to complete the end-to-end application process electronically and will reduce the costs of acquiring new business.
In the meantime, the groups will work together on seminars designed to assist lenders with the proposed regulatory changes. ‘Driving the Mortgage Market Forward’ takes place on 22 November in London.
