According to Sun Bank, intermediaries may be missing sales opportunities as they cannot easily identify complex prime cases.

The bank has said the main confusion is in differentiating complex prime from sub prime, and that many people whose circumstances are unusual have good credit records, but are being led into sub-prime lending by intermediaries.

To combat this confusion, Sun Bank has produced a booklet to identify potential cases for advisers and has devoted a web site to the subject, at www.complexprime.com. The guide can be downloaded from the site.
