Protection broker Goodfellows has improved the terms and cut the cost of its mortgage payment protection insurance (MPPI ) with the launch of mortgageSAFETYNET. The policy offers ‘back to day one’ cover after a waiting period of 30 days; three months free cover to all policyholders; no initial exclusion period; and full ASU for only £3.95 per £100 of monthly benefit.
