Peter Presland, managing director of Pink Home Loans, is to retire later this year. Presland, who founded the firm 11 years ago, had expected to retire in two years, having sold the company to the Skipton Group in July 2000. However, he has accelerated his leaving on health grounds. Commenting on his replacement, he said: ‘The appointment of my successor is the responsibility of the non-executive directors of the firm, and careful consideration is being given to appointing the right person to continue the Pink Home Loans success story. The precise timing of my relinquishing the position of managing director will not be finalised until a successor is formally appointed.’
