Verso is to launch an on-site mortgage offer facility with The Mortgage Operation (TMO) and Mortgage 2000 (M2000). It is currently the only lender to provide on-site underwriting and offer facilities through both introducers.
Mark Charlesworth, managing director at TMO, said: ‘Coupled with the permanent on-site underwriter this gives us the ability to issue offers at least three days more quickly than when offers had to be issued at Verso’s office. It creates even better time savings for any amendments to offers.’
Sean Hornsby, sales and marketing director at M2000, said: ‘M2000 has a close working relationship with Verso, and we have an ongoing dialogue on how to improve our service to our intermediaries. We are delighted we can now offer on-site mortgage offers in addition to onsite underwriting for Verso products. This will enable M2000 to offer an added-value service to its intermediaries.’
l TMO is to host a series of workshops for mortgage brokers. These will provide information on such topics as secured loans, sourcing systems, compliance, general insurance, correspondent lending and white label websites.
The workshop tour begins this month in Bristol and ends in June in Leeds/Bradford.
