After a successful six-week trial, Nationwide has introduced a video conferencing service in its Reading branch, allowing customers to receive mortgage advice from advisers based at different locations.

Robin Bailey, Nationwide’s divisional director for branch networks, said: ‘Our branch network plays a key role in allowing members to access their money in whatever way they choose.’
