Sub-prime lender Future Mortgages is aiming to assist the growth of small intermediaries by helping them market themselves in the local community.
The lender’s Marketing Toolbox is aimed at helping intermediaries expand with the use of public relations, advertising, direct mail and sponsorship techniques.
Richard Hurst, communications manager for Future Mortgages, said many smaller firms felt their size excluded them, from using such tactics to promote their business. He said the guide was a means of showing them that this need not be the case.
Hurst said: ‘Many intermediaries I speak to would like to do more to promote their business, but they are unsure of where to start, or are put off by the belief that huge budgets are required.’
