Legal & General’s (L&G) Mortgage Club is undertaking its largest ever survey of broker members to find out their opinion on the performance of lenders and the key issues affecting them in 2003.

The survey will question over 7,500 mortgage brokers and the results are expected to be collated by the spring. It is expected that the impact of CP146 will feature prominently in the response.

Stephen Smith, director housing marketing at L&G, said: ‘It is in everybody’s interest to see a smooth transition from the current successful MCCB regime to the new FSA arrangements. We will be working to ensure that mortgage advisers who are members of the Mortgage Club are kept well informed about their choices so they can make appropriate decisions about their future.’
