Zurich Advice Network (ZAN) has appointed HBOS subsidiary Birmingham Midshires Solutions (BMS) onto its lending panel.
ZAN is the third-largest mortgage club in the UK, behind Prudential’s Premier Mortgage Services, and Legal & General’s mortgage club.
Michael Bolton, director of mortgages for BMS, said: ‘BMS’ view is that there are three dominant players in the market, and ZAN was the last of these major clubs that BMS was not on. So we are delighted to have been appointed, especially as BMS is the only lender on the panel offering sub-prime products.’
ZAN has two classifications of lenders on its panel. It has five ‘premier’ lenders, including Halifax, and 11 lenders on its ‘panel’ including Cheltenham & Gloucester and now BMS.
Richard Coulson, mortgage franchise director of ZAN, said: ‘We are delighted to place Birmingham Midshires Solutions on the panel, especially as it is the only sub-prime lender on the panel directly.’
