Capital Home Loans has appointed James Bickers as its new business development executive for the North of England. Bickers, who will be working out of Harrogate, has many years’ experience working in the mortgage sector in the North. His previous positions include time at mortgage provider, Paragon, and mortgage sourcing company, Trigold.
County Home Loans
Matt Kimber has been signed by County Home Loans, the correspondent lender recently launched by County Group and GMAC RFC, as business development manager for the London area.
Kimber, who will be based at the lender’s Fareham offices in Hampshire, joins County Home Loans from Capital Home Loans where he worked for five years, most recently as an underwriting manager.
Global Home Loans
Global Home Loans (GHL) has appointed Chris Higgins as its chief financial officer. He will be responsible for drawing together all financial aspects of the business, and brings 10 years’ financial experience in the mortgage industry, having held senior financial positions at Britannic Money and Centex Mortgages UK.
First Advice
Manchester-based financial services company, First Advice, has appointed Jane Childs as its home propositions marketing manager. She will be responsible for searching for ways to add value to mortgage propositions. Childs has 12 years’ marketing experience in the financial services sector gained at Bradford & Bingley and Scarborough BS.
She said: ‘I am attracted by the challenge of looking at home buying in a completely fresh way ‘ not just supplying the best mortgage ‘ but giving borrowers real added benefits, such as helpful advice on looking for a house and setting up home for the first time.’
