The Mortgage Business (TMB) is expanding its Chester base and developing a new sales platform to be launched on 1 September.

TMB, a specialist lending subsidiary of HBOS, said the platform will facilitate online applications in principle, case tracking and regulatory compliance.

Bill Dudgeon, managing director of TMB, said: ‘In recent years our lack of sophisticated technology has constrained our growth. We are now building for the future and expect business growth to continue presenting us with fantastic opportunities to increase market share. This technology will allow TMB to grow, ensure compliance with impending legislation and offer our borrowers the benefits of an even faster service.’
