Specialist mortgage provider Opus Mortgages is to double the size of its workforce over the next year in a bid to turn itself into a household name.
The company is creating 40 jobs to expand its sales, underwriting and sales support teams. Opus also plans to double the amount of people it is able to help find a non-conforming mortgage via a professional mortgage adviser in the next 12 months.
Lockhart Bruce, finance and marketing director at Opus, said: ‘We are soon to start a major relationship-building exercise directly with potential customers. The goal is to turn the Opus name into a trusted and respected household brand.’
