Lenders and packagers are failing to cater for the needs of their intermediaries, because they are still relying on technology over business strategy according to lender Commercial First. Stephen Johnson, director at the company, said the move away from face-to-face contact was costing the industry dear and commented: ‘Proactive support and the ability to actually get hold of someone who will take personal responsibility for a case is vital.’
