National independent financial adviser firm Ashley Law has said it has had assurances from the Financial Services Authority that it has no intention of launching an investigation into the company. A group of former members, Ashley Law Ex Members Action Group, sent a formal complaint to the FSA detailing issues they had with the company (pg 4 Mortgage Solutions, 2 June). The FSA said it can get involved only in disputes that are regulatory and not simply contractual, but cannot comment on individual complaints.
