Scottish Provident’s mortgage club, The Mortgage Alliance, has announced a deal that will make its mortgages available to the 650 intermediaries in IFA partnership Positive Solutions.

Established in 2000, the Mortgage Alliance will be re-branded under the Positive Solutions banner and will offer advisers access to its full panel of lenders, which includes many of the main high street names.

Mark Evans, national mortgage manager at Scottish Provident, said: ‘This link-up is a fantastic opportunity to further grow the Mortgage Alliance and its range of products and services alongside Positive Solutions, which is a dynamic expanding business.’

Positive Solutions was the fastest growing financial services company in the UK in 2002, and, according to Chris Smallwood, the company’s partnership director, it prides itself on its use of technology.

He said: ‘This venture links in well with our technology offering to our IFA Partners which we believe is the best in the market.’

Positive Solutions intermediaries using the club will also be given free access to a customised version of the Trigold sourcing system.
