Continuing uncertainty in world stock markets is creating a boom in the overseas property market, according to overseas mortgage brokers Conti Financial Services (CFS). Simon Conn, senior partner at CFS, said: ‘Everything is pointing to a continuing increase in investors buying overseas property with a view to benefiting from rental income or enhancement to their personal lifestyle.’ He added that more attractive mortgage rates are likely to move the market further on.
