Graham Dalziel, chief executive of Dunfermline Building Society won the Prince of Wale’s Ambassador Award this month for his work supporting youth, health, education and community schemes.
Dalziel committed himself to encouraging other Scottish companies to supporting such schemes.
”Most companies are aware of corporate social responsibility but perhaps struggle to put theory into practice.
“It must become a core value of the organisation as a whole and something that all staff are engaged in as a matter of course,” he said.
