Abbey to offer more mortgages to 90% LTV
Abbey for Intermediaries is to reduce rates on a number of mortgages and open up several of its first-timer buyer products to 90% LTV, from tomorrow.

The lender will introduce a three-year fixed rate product for first-time buyers at 4.79%, available up to 90% with no fees.

A fee-free five-year fixed rate product will be available at 4.99% and a three-year tracker deal at 4.79%, both up to 90% LTV.

Several fixed-rate products at 75% and 80% LTV will also have new lower rates introduced.

Abbey will also launch a pair of new Loyal Mover mortgages, aimed at customers who already hold mortgages with the lender.

Both its three- and five-year fixed rate deals will be available at 4.59%, up to 85% LTV with a £995 fee.

The introduction of more new products follows Abbey’s decision to introduce a part-interest-only, part-repayment mortgage and a seven day broker exclusive 1.99% fix last week.
