The division, which has 10 specialist new-homes advisers on board, will be led by Just Mortgages business development director, Paul Wilson. Wilson will report to national operations director John Phillips and will be supported by divisional sales manager Peter Carter.
Following increased demand for advice on new-home mortgages, Just Mortgages said that it was necessary to create a dedicated division to offer specialist advice.
The division will deal with everything from 10-unit developments upwards. Just Mortgages said its biggest scheme to date has been a 200-unit development, completed shortly before the division was established.
Where required, Just Mortgages advisers will work from the house builders’ site office to provide advice for every person visiting the new properties where required.
John Phillips, national operations director at Just Mortgages, said: “There is forecast to be 74 million people in the UK by 2020 and it will be essential to increase the number of new homes to accommodate this volume of people, therefore the demand for mortgages for new homes will only increase as the level of house building goes up.
“As a result we launch with 10 advisers covering the whole of England and Wales but we expect this to increase rapidly as we provide a more wide-ranging and comprehensive service to both local and national house builders and their customers.”
