Furness Building Society has launched two variable-rate mortgage products for loans between £300,000 and £500,000.
The two and three-year discount mortgages, available for loans up to 70% loan-to-value (LTV), are priced at 1.40% for two years with a £1,499 fee and 1.75% for three years with a £999 fee. Both mortgage products are free of early repayment charges.
Mortgages above £500,000 should be referred to the regional development team or the intermediary team at Furness Direct.
The building society’s change follows the Skipton’s decision to remove its arrangement fee of £995 from its three-year fixed intermediary-only products from Wednesday 20 July. The lender will also withdraw its 90% LTV intermediary exclusive three-year fixed-rate mortgage.
