Mortgage Brain celebrates 30th anniversary by raising £50,000 for charity
Sourcing software and technology provider Mortgage Brain, marked its 30th birthday by raising over £50,000 for charity.

Turning its birthday party into a charity fundraiser, the £50,814 raised will be split between the Alzheimer’s Society, Birmingham Christmas Shelter, Contact the Elderly, MDS UK Patient Support Group, Shooting Star Children’s Hospice, Compassion International and Haiti Orphanage Project Espwa.

The evening event was attended by over 300 guests and was held at the Hilton London Bankside.

Mark Lofthouse (pictured), chief executive officer of Mortgage Brain, said, “Thirty years ago computers were powered by an Intel 286 processor. These days we have all got what could be called super computers at our fingertips. We have moved from floppy discs to the digital age and through many stages in between. Throughout this time Mortgage Brain has led the market and remained a consistent driving force within the industry.”

He added: “Reaching our 30th birthday is a significant achievement, and as well as giving us the opportunity to celebrate, it was a perfect opportunity to say thank you to our business partners, friends, colleagues and associates.”

Lofthouse also gave thanks to everyone who had helped raise so much money for the various charities that are all actively supported through fundraising or volunteering activity by one or more of Mortgage Brain’s employees.
