Mortgage Brain adds digital fact find to the Key
Mortgage Brain has launched a new version of the Key offering brokers a digitised fact find for clients to complete before the mortgage interview.

The Key is used by several thousand mortgage advisers to support the sale of mortgages, general and life insurance, loans and other products and it confirmed it has added a raft of changes to the software including secure document and messaging capabilities.

The software is integrated with both of Mortgage Brain’s sourcing systems (MortgageBrain Classic, the desktop version and MortgageBrain Anywhere, which is offline), as well as competitor sourcing systems and the Mortgage Trading Exchange (MTE), for online mortgage submission and MortgageBrain B2C website plug-ins.

In a bid to offer a more digital customer journey the digital fact find offers more flexible information gathering as the client portal can be accessed any time on any device.

The functionality enables clients to complete the online fact find and send documents to advisers at a time that suits them, which can then be reviewed prior to any advice being offered and offering a time saving of around 30 minutes.

Mark Lofthouse, CEO of Mortgage Brain, said: “These new features are available to advisers now and at no additional cost. Through our continued investment of over 40% of our expenditure each year into product research and development, we regularly deploy more new capabilities into our products than other companies for the benefit of advisers and their customers.”
