The commentator said: “The fees versus no fees debate again, surely this one has been done to death by now.
“I choose to charge fees to clients for mortgage advice and it works for me, but other brokers can successfully run a non-fee charging model. Neither approach is wrong.
“If you are happy with your process and it generates the level of income that you require, I see little point in arguing with people who see it differently.”
