Tenet’s networks are the second in the UK to be granted national access.
Dudley had already partnered with Tenet in November 2016 to distribute its products, but the provision was previously limited to advisers within 100 miles of Dudley’s principal office.
However, Tenet said that case quality and the consumer benefit of a broader reach supported the distribution widening.
Simon Broadley (pictured), Tenet’s new managing director of TenetLime who joined earlier in January, commented: “We have been working with Dudley Building Society on a regional basis for several years and are pleased to be granted direct national access for our network members.
“Its strong emphasis on customer service, backed up by a personal approach to case assessment and underwriting, has proved valuable and direct national access supports the interests of the end customer,” Broadley continued.
Jenny Hawthorne, business development manager at Dudley Building Society, said: “We saw a positive start to our partnership with Tenet and following a review, we agreed to open up access further afield to enable more of its brokers to take advantage of our offer.
“We are hoping this will be particularly helpful for those advising older borrowers and the self-employed,” Hawthorne added.
