The Specialist Lending Event, the exhibition and seminar series, hosted by Mortgage Solutions' sister-title Specialist Lending Solutions, is on its way to a venue near you starting in Harrogate on 24 January.

Where and when to find us:

24th January – Harrogate International Centre, Harrogate
25th January – The Mere Golf Resort & Spa, Cheshire
31st January – Manufacturing Technology Centre, Birmingham
1st February – Allianz Park, London

To get up-to-date on the products, regulation and key lenders in complex buy to let, secured lending, bridging and commercial lending for residential properties, reserve your place today at the half-day event with a simple registration.

Join us for breakfast from 08.30 for an instant product and market snapshot from all the key new and established specialist lenders and distributors including Vida Homeloans, Together, Castle Trust, Aldermore, Complete FS, 3mc, Keystone, Shawbrook and Connect for Intermediaries.

Brightstar CEO Rob Jupp will be chairing our lender panel at every event and is joined by other key speakers including CEO of Mortgages for Business David Whittaker with his tactics on how to approach Special Purpose Vehicles (SPV) for buy-to-let investments. With the rush of landlords considering buying via SPVs set to become a torrent, what knowledge do brokers need to deal with these enquiries and where do the advice boundaries lie?

Shawbrook Bank will also outlinine the ‘fair approach’ to second charge mortgage advice followed by an in-depth seminar on the evolution of the bridging sector from Lendinvest. Next, Aldermore’s commercial director of group mortgages Charles McDowell leads a session on the complexities of serving self-employed clients.

Get ready to debate the issues with our lender and distributor panels chaired across the country by experts including CEO of Brightstar Financial Rob Jupp and Matthew Wyles, executive director at Castle Trust and pick up five hours of CPD points just for attending.

Samantha Partington, editor of Specialist Lending Solutions, said: “We’ve worked hard to put together a seminar programme to not only help intermediaries working within specialist finance sectors such as second charge lending and bridging get to grips with the current changes within their markets, but to educate mortgage intermediaries on the solutions these forms of finance can offer their clients.

In light of the tax relief changes for individual buy-to-let investors and the growing interest in the use of limited companies to shelter from these cuts, we have an expert on hand to arm you with the all the information you need to help borrowers looking to Special Purpose Vehicles for the next buy-to-let purchase. I believe this is an unmissable event for intermediaries working across all secured loan and mortgage finance markets.”
