Borro’s Harriet Smith joins Masthaven
Harriet Smith has joined challenger bank Masthaven as business development manager.

Smith joins from secured lending platform Borro where she spent six years.

Meanwhile economics graduate Charles Creak has joined the firm as business development executive.

Richard Deacon, sales director at Masthaven, said: “We are delighted to have Charles and Harriet on board. As the bank continues to expand and develop its proposition, it’s crucial that we have the right skills and energy in place to take the business forward – Charles and Harriet bring an abundance of both; and the team is really looking forward to working with them.”

Earlier this year, Masthaven recruited former key account manager at TMA Mortgage Club, Emma Kinsella, to its business development team and announced plans to to expand its proposition for advisers, with a new mortgage range and full second charge range expected to be launched this year.

The bank obtained its banking license in April 2016.
