Earlier this week Mortgage Solutions reported that brokers were becoming increasingly concerned over the spread of Japanese knotweed across the UK and its effect on mortgage applications.
Brokers said that it was not apparent which lenders would offer mortgages on affected properties and that further clarity was needed.
The latest Mortgage Solutions People’s Poll asks brokers whether they have dealt with houses suffering from Japanese knotweed and whether it made a lender withdraw its mortgage offer.
