This week our Star Letter goes to Des Platt for his comment under the article: Lender: ‘We don’t want to feel like cash cows for trade show events’.
He said: “As a broker, I nearly always come away with a contact who turns out to be useful for the future at this sort of event; in particular with mutual building societies.
“It would never put me off trying a new lender, not having met them – to me that is one of the elements of variety that makes it a great job. However, it is a help to have met at a seminar before ringing and discussing a case.”
