He wrote: “Regulators do what they do because they are incapable of doing what we do: delivering sound, practical advice.
“The naive comments also have more than a whiff about them regarding the intelligence of clients, many of whom are very knowledgeable people, and their ability to handle their own affairs in a controlled and measured manner.”
