TMG Mortgage Network has promoted Amy Lister to training and development manager, showing its “long-standing commitment to investing in its people and delivering more for its members”.

Lister has worked at TMG Mortgage Network for around a year as a learning and development coordinator.

She has more than 20 years’ experience in the mortgage industry and has worked across mortgage administration, adviser support, compliance, suitability checking and paraplanning.

Under Lister’s leadership, the network will enhance its training and development offering and ensure it remains “practical, relevant and aligned to regulatory expectations and Consumer Duty outcomes”.

The promotion shows TMG Mortgage Network’s “culture of developing talent internally and backing people who consistently deliver for advisers”. It also “builds on strong foundations already in place” in its training and competence framework.

Scott Thorpe, founder and CEO of TMG Mortgage Network, said: “We invest in our people and promote from within – that’s how we build a stronger network. Amy is hugely respected by our members and will play a key role as we continue to deliver more meaningful support.”

Lister added: “Because I’ve done the job, I understand what advisers actually need day to day. This role is about development that genuinely supports our members and helps them build their businesses in the way that works for them.”

TMG Mortgage Network recently made Jasmine Smith its head of sales and recruitment.

The firm said last year that it was entering its next stage of investment and growth, with artificial intelligence (AI) innovation being the focus.
