The Mortgage Code Compliance Board (MCCB) has announced the addition of Jim Gaskin to its board of directors. Gaskin is managing director of Exchange FS supplier of e-commerce and software solutions in the personal finance industry. He was formerly known for building up the Countrywide operation into one of the country’s largest intermediary networks. Last year he became the vice chairman of the Association of Independent Financial Advisers, but resigned on leaving Countrywide.

Commenting on the appointment, Colin Harris, MCCB chairman, said: ‘His experience and industry knowledge will be invaluable in the formulation of future mortgage board policies and high level strategies.’
