The Mortgage Business
The Mortgage Business (TMB) has appointed Mark Bergin, currently director of new business, to director of sales and marketing.
Bergin, who has been with TMB since its launch in 1989, has worked closely with TMB’s intermediary partners.
Bill Dudgeon, managing director, said: ‘Mark has worked in all areas of the business and has developed excellent relations with major introducers. Having reached our £4bn book, we have ambitious plans and Mark will undoubtedly ensure we achieve them.’
Abbey National has appointed Debra Fraser to the position of director of mortgage marketing. She takes responsibility for mortgage marketing and development, with particular emphasis on building customer relationships.
Fraser joined Abbey National in 1992 and has a background in economics and pricing. Her previous role was head of pricing strategy, where she was responsible for a new pricing model for mortgages.
Janet Connor, retail marketing director, said: ‘With Debra on board, we will strengthen our customer propositions and our position as one of the strongest competitive forces in the UK.’
