Moneysupermarket.com is to search for more national mortgage intermediaries to join its referral service. This is in response to the company agreeing to power mortgage sourcing engines for personal finance websites Doshpoint and Yahoo! Finance

Simon Nixon, chief executive of Moneysupermarket.com, said: ‘We are delighted to have deals with Doshpoint and Yahoo! Finance and believe these sites will provide intermediaries with a whole new way of sourcing targeted and valuable customer leads. Due to the existing demand from consumers for advice through our website, we are actively seeking additional partners to distribute the ever increasing number of leads.

‘When a customer visits the mortgage channel on Moneysupermarket.com or a partner site such as Yahoo!, they can source from the entire market of over 4,000 mortgages. However, many customers prefer advice when selecting a mortgage, and can press a button on the website saying, ‘get an adviser to call me.’ This will prompt an adviser from intermediary group InterAlliance to call within two hours.’

Increasing demand for the service and the addition of the two new partners ‘ expected to add around 100 referrals a day ‘ prompted Moneysupermarket.com to look for additional national intermediary groups to join its panel in offering this service.

Moneysupermarket.com and its 150 web partners receive around 500,000 unique visitors every month, with 4,000 a day visiting the mortgage channel.

Doshpoint’s mortgage channel currently generates around 25,000 visitors a month.
