Igroup

Igroup has appointed three senior executives. Andrew Moore has taken the role of quality director. He was previously responsible for the integration of igroup and Midland & General into GE Capital’s Global Consumer Finance (GCF) business. He will be responsible for overseeing the roll-out of a quality programme ‘ the final stage of the integration process.

Simon Deane-Johns becomes legal and compliance director. His responsibilities will include embedding and managing a legal and compliance infrastructure in the company.

Paul Askew becomes risk director following two years as senior manager at GCF in Australia. He will be responsible for the risk management of igroup’s portfolio, using GE’s risk management and quality principles.

Platform Home Loans

Platform Home Loans (PHL) has taken on two new business development managers.

Ross Deacon has received an internal promotion and will manage the South Coast region. He has worked in PHL’s sales department for four years and was most recently telesales team leader.

Karen Bowman joins PHL as manager for the North East region. She joins after working at Northern Rock for five years, where she was a key account manager for the Yorkshire region.

Guy Batchelor, sales and marketing manager at PHL, said: ‘With increasing demand for our products and services it has been necessary to expand our sales force to help us strengthen the business further. We have a great vision for the future and all of our new recruits have the right qualities to help make this vision a reality. We look forward to welcoming them as part of the team.’

Virgin One

Virgin One has appointed Rudi Hare as a business partnership manager for the South West of England where he will support the intermediary market.

Hare has been with Virgin One in a number of roles since 1998 and will be based in Bristol.

Anthony Richardson, national partnership manager, said: ‘Rudi will extend our reach across England and ensure advisers in the area get an appropriate level of support. We are expanding the team rapidly due to the success of our new sales support strategy, which launched at the end of last year. Rudi has the experience and the skills essential to help us continue making giant strides in the intermediary channel.’

National Guarantee

National Guarantee has taken on Uresh Patel as a senior sales consultant in its intermediary sales team. Previously at the packager Purple3, Patel will be responsible for meeting the needs of the company’s present mortgage intermediaries and for increasing their numbers as the company grows its national distribution channel.

Keith Robinson, managing director, said: ‘Uresh comes highly recommended. He built a good reputation for himself while at Purple3 and we are delighted he has come on board. We have big plans for our introducers and Suresh has the right qualities to help us spearhead our new assault on the introducer community.’
