Europe’s top mortgage lenders and mortgage bond issuers are to meet in Madrid in September for the EuroCatalyst 2002 conference. The conference theme is ‘European mortgage markets- will national markets survive globalisation?’ Subjects discussed will be cross border lending and whether a single mortgage market in Europe is possible. It will be the first industry gathering endorsed by Europe’s major mortgage trade associations. These include The Council of Mortgage Lenders, Association of German Mortgage banks, European Mortgage Federation and Spanish mortgage federation.
