Mortgage Express
Claire Ridgewell is to become intermediary sales manager at Mortgage Express and will cover the Chelmsford area.
Her duties will include developing business within the local mortgage intermediary market.
Ridgewell previously worked on business and product development within Mortgage Express.
Cam Amaira, head of sales at Mortgage Express, said: ‘It is fantastic that someone who has previously worked on product development has moved across to sales. Claire’s previous position will give her a good background when she goes out to talk to brokers. Knowing how Mortgage Express works gives her an advantage.’
Mortgages plc
The Mortgages plc board has appointed three people to take up non-executive positions.
Mark Clarke will replace Ravi Takhar as non-executive chairman of the board and Peter Gissel and Laurence Morley will join as non-executive directors.
All three appointments come from Nikko Principal Investment, the company that acquired Mortgages plc last year. The three new board members are all chartered accountants.
Their role will be to provide positive and constructive input representing the views of the parent company.
