The number of pre-registered brokers for The Mortgage Event, the largest mortgage event of the year for intermediaries, has climbed to over 1,600.

The free event is being held by Legal & General Mortgage Club, Premier Mortgage Service and ZIFA Mortgage Network, in association with Mortgage Solutions.

It provides an opportunity for brokers to listen to key industry figures discussing regulation, technology, the economy and sustainable home ownership.

The venues and dates are 17 September ‘ Thistle, Glasgow; 18 September ‘ The Royal Armouries, Leeds; 24 September ‘ De Vere Whites Hotel, Bolton; 26 September ‘ ICC, Birmingham; 7 October ‘ Copthorne Hotel, London Gatwick; 9 October ‘ Thistle, Bristol; and 10 October ‘ QEII Centre, Central London.

Nationwide has donated a football signed by the England World Cup Squad and all brokers who pre-register and attend an event will be eligible to enter the draw to win it. Those who pre-register will also be entered into a draw to win a trip to one of three holiday destinations.

First prize is three nights for two people in Venice in a four-star hotel. Second prize is two nights for two people in a four-star hotel in Barcelona. Third prize is a two-night stay in a three-star hotel in Bruges for two people. All transport and transfers are included.
