Mortgages plc has completed the restructure of its sales and marketing team and has made several new appointments.

Mark Harrison and Bryn Hancock have been appointed to the newly-created positions of regional managers for the North and South of the UK respectively.

Harrison was previously with Bank of Ireland where he was corporate lending manager.

Hancock joins from Mortgage Choice, Australia’s largest mortgage broker.

Harrison and Hancock will each manage four area managers and have their own sales area.

Julian Wells, formerly marketing manager, is the new head of marketing with responsibility for product and brand development as well as all elements of marketing communications. Siobhan Dunne has been appointed to the new position of marketing communications assistant.

The Mortgage Business

The Mortgage Business (TMB) has appointed Gary Armstrong as its business development manager for the East Midlands.

Armstrong has more than 20 years’ experience in financial services. He joins TMB from Intelligent Finance where he liaised with IFAs as an account executive. Before that, he worked at Britannia Building Society.

Mark Bergin, director, sales and marketing, said: ‘Gary brings a wealth of experience to TMB. His first-hand knowledge of the intermediary market is important as it will help us build and develop relationships with intermediaries in the East Midlands.’
