Birmingham Midshires (BM) has appointed Emma Thomas as head of communication and brand. She will be responsible for internal and external communication with key stakeholders, brand development and BM’s award-winning community involvement programme.

Thomas said: ‘As part of the HBOS Group, Birmingham Midshires is in a fantastic position to capitalise on its growth plans.’

Global Home Loans

Global Home Loans has appointed Adam Sutton as director of change and client relations. He will manage existing client relationships and integrate new clients, as well as change management and strategic planning.

He has seven years’ experience from Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, where he specialised in strategic management consultancy, in many cases re-engineering companies across the whole value chain.

Prior to that, he worked for eight years in the consumer goods industry with BAT and Unilever, concentrating primarily on sales and marketing management.
