IFA Promotion (IFAP)
IFAP, the organisation promoting the benefits of independent advice, has appointed Roy Nicholson, chairman of Advice First, as temporary chairman.
The move follows the resignation of Kevin McBrien, who stepped down at the November board meeting.
Nicholson will be co-ordinating the appointment of a permanent replacement in the new year.
David Elms, chief executive of IFAP, said: ‘We would like to thank Kevin on his sterling effort on IFAP’s behalf, a period that has seen our IFA membership grow by 15%, leads generated grow by 20% and recognition grow of the important role IFAP is playing in helping to secure the future market for independent advice.’
