Amber Homeloans

Amber Homeloans has appointed two new business development managers.

Stephen Schofield and John Penn will be responsible for offering regional support to mortgage packagers and panels in the North and South of England, respectively.

Schofield comes to Amber with 10 years’ experience in the market. He started at Derbyshire BS before switching to Nottingham BS, where he was regional development manager.

Prior to his new role, Penn spent seven years at Norwich & Peterborough BS, covering Southern England.

National Guarantee

National Guarantee has appointed Howard Broadbent as its chief operating officer. His remit will be to manage National Guarantee on a day-to-day basis and exploit opportunities within the non-conforming and sub- prime markets.

Before National Guarantee, Broadbent was part of the senior management team of Midland and General Direct ‘ the mortgage and secured loans business owned by GE Capital.

As part of its planned development, National Guarantee has also made a number of other senior management appointments.

Pink Home Loans

Pink Home Loans has appointed Dev Malle as head of operations, a post he will take up in mid-January.

He started his career with Nationwide BS where he held management positions including branch manager and senior branch manager. Malle went on to join Nationwide’s specialist lender UCB Homeloans in 1998, where he held the position of senior manager new business.

Malle said: ‘I am looking forward to starting my new position. I will be leading the improvements in service levels and putting together a great service solution, ensuring Pink Home Loans is in a strong position in 2003.’
