Estate agents faced a barrage of complaints in 2002, increasing in number by 15% on 2001, which itself was a record year and saw an increase of 25% on 2000.
Estate agents’ Ombudsman, Stephen Carr-Smith, said the complaints ranged across the board, and would be detailed in the annual report released in March.
