Lender, Bristol & West Mortgages, has set up an application in principle (AIP) scheme with Pink Home Loans. The pilot is being offered to Pink’s premier members. Once a request for an AIP has been received, Bristol & West guarantees to inform Pink of the decision within four working hours.
Mike Lloyd, head of central mortgage services for Bristol & West, said: ‘After a lengthy consultation period in response to the feedback we have received from our brokers, we are piloting our Good as Gold scheme. This new system is both time and cost-effective, leaving the broker more time to spend with their client. Although we are currently piloting it through Pink, we are hoping to make it available to all our brokers once its success has been proved.’
