Staffordshire Building Society
Staffordshire Building Society has appointed Mark Blackwell to its executive team where he will be responsible for mortgage development within the Staffordshire Group. Blackwell joins from the Portman Building Society, and has previous experience with Skipton Building Society and Leeds & Holbeck Building Society.
Bill Snaith, chief executive at Staffordshire BS, commented: ‘I am delighted that we have succeeded in attracting someone of Mark’s calibre. His appointment further strengthens our senior management team and I am sure that Mark will quickly build on the recent improvements made to the Group’s mortgage range.’ Blackwell added: ‘The Staffordshire has made some real progress developing its mortgage range product range for different types of borrowers across various sectors of the market. This is an opportunity to make a real contribution to a progressive and innovative lender.’
