LMS Packaging has appointed Richard Hartwell as senior underwriter ‘ a newly created post within the business. With six years’ experience in mortgage underwriting, Hartwell joins LMS from non-conforming specialist lender, SPML. Prior to that he was at the Halifax, undertaking underwriting and mortgage desk sales functions. Andy Linnett, director at LMS, said: ‘With lenders increasingly offering products across the whole-range ‘ from prime to sub prime ‘ Richard’s all-round experience will bring added benefit to the business.’
Next Generation Mortgages
Packager Next Generation Mortgages (NGM) has appointed Phil Edmunds as its new head of compliance. Edmunds will be responsible for spearheading the development of the company’s non-regulated life assurance and general insurance offering as NGM makes a concentrated push into the sector. Edmunds has been in the financial services industry since 1980 and was with Royal London Insurance until 2000. Previously, he owned his own IFA practice.
