As part of its expansion plans, non-conforming mortgage intermediary The Mortgage Group (TMG) has announced the creation of 185 new jobs in the South West. The jobs, mainly in mortgage telesales and processing, are part of a plan to increase monthly sales from £60m to £100m, an increase of 60%, by the end of the year.
Tony Murtagh, managing director of TMG, commented: ‘As a business we are going from strength-to-strength at the present time. Lending volumes are on the increase ‘ and we therefore need willing and able people to assist potential borrowers find an appropriate mortgage product that caters for their unique financial circumstances.’
The recruitment, which will start immediately, will be at TMG’s Truro headquarters and at its regional centres in Falmouth, Droitwich and Crewe. At least 60 of the new jobs will be full time ‘ with an additional 125 vacancies being created on a part-time basis.
