The Intermediary Mortgage Lenders Association (IMLA) has responded to CP174 by calling upon the Financial Services Association (FSA) to remove the capital resources requirement on mortgage intermediaries. John Heron, chairman of IMLA, said: “This is one area where we feel the lives of intermediaries could be made easier.” IMLA’s full response can be viewed at www.imla.org.uk
